About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the launch and operations of a new e-wallet in the Philippines, backed by a leading telecommunications company. This role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth project execution, cross-functional coordination, and risk management as we work toward a successful go-live.

The role involves tracking project timelines, managing dependencies across teams, and supporting regulatory compliance efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-impact fintech initiative, shaping the future of digital payments in the country.


Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

• Assist in planning, tracking, and execution of key initiatives leading to the e-wallet launch.

• Maintain and update project timelines, deliverables, and status reports.

• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies across workstreams and escalate issues as needed.


Cross-Functional Team Support

• Work closely with teams across Product, Technology, Compliance, Finance, and Business Operations.

• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, ensuring action items are documented and followed up.

• Track progress on vendor engagements and external partnerships.


Process & Documentation Management

• Maintain project tracking dashboards, reports, and documentation (e.g., JIRA, MS Planner).

• Ensure all project updates and decisions are recorded for transparency and reporting.

• Support in preparing status reports, presentations, and stakeholder updates for leadership.


Risk & Issue Tracking

• Monitor project risks and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.

• Assist in preparing risk reports and escalation summaries for senior leadership.


Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Coordinate with the Compliance & Risk teams to track regulatory requirements and ensure compliance milestones are met.

• Support in gathering documentation for BSP approvals, InstaPay/PESONet integrations, and audit requirements.


Qualifications & Experience

1-3 years of experience in project management, business operations, or program coordination, preferably in fintech, payments, banking, or technology-driven projects.

• Background in project execution, coordination, and reporting.

• Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Planner, Trello, Asana, Confluence, etc.).

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including tech, product, business, compliance, and finance.

• Prior experience in payments, e-wallets, banking, or compliance-related projects is an advantage.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.
