At Boost, the Project Manager will play a key role in driving our growth by managing the deployments of our whitelabeled customer onboarding technology for financial institutions. The successful candidate will manage partner-facing projects, ensuring seamless integration of our SaaS solution into partner’s systems while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders (internal and partner).


What is Boost Capital?

Boost transforms Financial Institutions, expanding their client reach through chat-based financial services. Banks and Microfinance traditionally operate through in-person meetings via brick-and-mortar locations – Boost enables these Financial Institutions to onboard clients digitally for loans and savings in 5-10 minutes through chat, without an app download.

We built our tech platform to have simple integrations, so we can launch a new Financial Institution in 2-3 weeks. Backed by top-tier institutional and angel investors, Boost is on a mission to make financial services faster, more accessible, and client-friendly.

In short, Boost tech digitizes loan and savings applications – clients love it because our service is 100x faster than traditional microlenders.


Position Details

  • Position: Project Manager
  • Location: WFH in Philippines OR WFH in Indonesia or in-office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (expect to work with a geographically dispersed team spanning Asia, Europe, and North America)
  • Assignment Category: Full-time
  • Reporting Line: Chief Operating Officer


Your Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and successful delivery of SaaS builds
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and budgets, with a nimble approach that allows Boost to balance partner and Boost interests and resources across multiple simultaneous builds.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate closely with financial institution stakeholders to understand their business requirements and technical needs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between partners and Boost for the duration of the build.
  • Field ongoing customization requests/requirements that arise during builds and liaise with product/tech team to adjust deployment timelines and manage resources

Technical Integration:

  • Oversee the technical integration of our SaaS platform with clients' existing systems, ensuring smooth data flow and system compatibility.
  • Work with technical teams to resolve integration issues promptly.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, including project status reports and timelines.
  • Facilitate open communication channels to address issues promptly and maintain project momentum.

Change Management:

  • Deploy change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of our technology by clients' personnel.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and prepared for system changes.

Risk Management and Quality Assurance:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Lead quality assurance checks to ensure that implementations meet client needs and our quality standards, with the support of the Product team.
  • Manage security review processes, including SIT/UAT/Production reviews.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes to enhance project delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Skills & Abilities Required

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managing SaaS implementation projects, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SaaS integration processes and experience with project management tools (Shortcut). Experience with SIT/UAT/Production reviews.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Comfortable in English and able to work with translators for other stakeholder languages.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
