Description
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Adapt to changing menus and special requests
- Prepare ingredients, cook dishes to order, maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist in inventory, and follow safety protocols.
Requirements
- Job Title: Line Cook
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cooking techniques, kitchen hygiene practices, stewarding tasks, mise-en-place preparation, heavy lifting, and attention to detail.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment with the potential for long hours and physically demanding tasks.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong work ethic, adaptability, teamwork, and a passion for culinary arts.
