  • Prepare and cut meats according to specifications.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the workplace.
  • Provide excellent customer service and advice on meat selection.
  • Handle inventory and assist in stock management.
  • Skillfully operate meat cutting equipment.
  • Understand and apply food handling regulations.
  • Prepare, cut, and package meat; maintain cleanliness of workspace; assist customers.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
  • Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a butcher role preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies: Knowledgeable in meat preparation and cutting techniques; understanding of food safety standards.
  • Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment; may involve standing for long periods and heavy lifting.
  • Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for quality meat products.
