The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our network, systems, and data. This role involves collaborating with other IT teams, conducting security assessments, responding to incidents, and contributing to the overall improvement of our security posture.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability scanning tools.

2. Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

3. Monitor security systems and logs to detect and respond to security incidents.

4. Investigate security incidents and breaches, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

5. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.

6. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the IT infrastructure.

7. Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

8. Provide security awareness training to employees.

9. Participate in security audits and compliance efforts.

10. Automate security tasks and processes where possible.

11. Research and evaluate new security technologies and solutions.

12. Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive security strategy.

13. Provides relevant content to update information security posters, reminders, awareness write ups.

14. Protects sensitive data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Implements data loss prevention (DLP) and encryption solutions. Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations
