Job Description

Full-Time | Legal Virtual Assistant | Legal Admin Support

OnSpot LegalOps is hiring a Legal Operations Assistant to support U.S. Landlord–Tenant law firms with Rent Demands, Petitions, NYCHA/Section 8 documents, and case management.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review legal documents (Rent Demands, Petitions, NYCHA/Section 8)
Verify tenant data, rent ledgers, and case details
Track deadlines and maintain case logs
Upload and organize documents in CMS/Google Drive
Communicate with attorneys and paralegals to gather missing information

Qualifications

1–3 years as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal Assistant, Legal VA, Legal Admin, or related
Strong English written communication
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with legal documents or U.S. legal clients
Proficiency with Google Workspace and MS Office

Preferred

Knowledge of Landlord–Tenant workflows (Rent Demands, Petitions, NYCHA, Section 8)
Experience with legal case management systems (MyCase, Clio, Leap)
