Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd. obtained approval from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Philippine Central Bank) on September 24, 2015, to establish a full-service commercial branch, after being in the Philippines as a Representative Office for 18 years (since 1997). On October 2, 2015, Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd Manila Branch opened in the business district of Makati City, Metro Manila. Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd. Manila Branch was the first Taiwanese bank and the third foreign bank to join the Philippine banking industry following the promulgation of Republic Act (RA) 10641 in 2014, which allows foreign banks to establish a branch in the country. On October 2, 2015, Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd Manila Branch started business in the business district of Makati City, Metro Manila. Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd. Manila Branch provides one-stop banking products and services such as Deposits and Withdrawals, Remittance, Corporate Loans and etc.

Qualifications & experience

• 1. Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree, Major in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business or equivalent.
• 2. Preferably with at least 1-2 years of experience in Banking specialized in Corporate Account opening or Corporate Loan operations.
• 3. Required Skill(s): Ability to act independently, Time Management, Logical Thinking and Problem-solving skills.
• 4. With knowledge in MS Office.
• 5. Can communicate well in English, speaking and writing.

Tasks & responsibilities

• 1. Conduct Corporate and Personal account opening, account periodic review and related transactions.
• 2. Timely and efficient processing of cash/check deposits, withdrawals, encashment, payment, clearing of checks and preparing of statement of accounts.
• 3. Process Corporate Loan.
• 4. Assist in report preparation and document filing and  perform related duties as assigned by the Manager.
