We are seeking an Internal Auditor to assess and improve our internal controls, financial processes, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is critical in identifying risks, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems across departments and business units.
• Conduct audits of financial records, operational procedures, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Identify control weaknesses, risks, or areas for improvement and propose actionable recommendations.
• Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan aligned with the company’s goals and risk profile.
• Monitor adherence to financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports to management, highlighting findings, root causes, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure implementation of audit recommendations and follow-up assessments.
• Assess the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information.
• Ensure company assets are safeguarded through proper risk management and internal controls.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends.
• Conduct special investigations or audits as required by senior management or the Board.
• Contribute to the development of a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide support for external audits and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk assessment techniques.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and corporate governance regulations.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
• Proficiency in audit tools, accounting software, and MS Office Suite.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
