ob Summary:

The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling customer bookings, managing online reservations, and providing outstanding service to ensure a smooth and efficient reservation process. This role is key in delivering a positive customer experience, optimizing booking opportunities, and ensuring accurate reservation data across all channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms regarding vehicle availability, pricing, rental terms, and reservations.
  • Manage and confirm bookings using the company’s reservation system, ensuring accuracy in customer details and rental information.
  • Coordinate with branch staff to ensure vehicle availability and readiness for each reservation.
  • Process modifications, extensions, or cancellations to existing reservations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor online booking channels (e.g., company website, OTAs, aggregators) and ensure all reservations are captured correctly in the system.
  • Upsell additional services such as insurance coverage, GPS units, child seats, etc., where applicable.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service, resolving customer issues or complaints with a customer-first approach.
  • Maintain detailed records of calls, bookings, and interactions in the CRM or reservation software.
  • Assist in compiling reservation reports and performance metrics as required by management.
