Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Paid Media to play a critical role in preparing for an upcoming pitch and guiding the development of an internal paid digital media team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in paid media planning, execution, and team building, with a proven track record of creating high-impact media plans and scalable operational structures. This is a consultancy role requiring both strategic and hands-on input.


Key Responsibilities:


Media Plan Development for Pitch


1. Research & Strategy Development:


  • Conduct in-depth research on the client’s industry, target audience, and competitors to inform the pitch.
  • Develop a comprehensive and data-driven paid media strategy tailored to the client’s business goals.
  • Identify the optimal mix of platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Programmatic) and tactics for maximum ROI.


2. Media Plan Creation:


  • Build a detailed media plan, including campaign objectives, target audience profiles, budget allocation, channel selection, and expected outcomes.
  • Include performance forecasts (e.g., impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS) based on historical and industry benchmarks.
  • Prepare a visually compelling and client-focused presentation for the pitch.



Proposal for Internal Paid Media Team


3. Team Structure & Roles:


  • Develop a proposal for building an in-house paid media team, outlining key roles and responsibilities (e.g., Media Buyers, Strategists, Analysts).
  • Identify required skill sets, tools, and certifications for team members to execute paid media campaigns effectively.


4. Operational Framework:


  • Design workflows for campaign planning, execution, optimization, and reporting to ensure seamless operations.
  • Recommend best practices for collaboration between the paid media team and other departments (e.g., creative, analytics, client services).


5. Budget & Tools:


  • Provide recommendations on the budget required to establish the team, including salaries, tools (e.g., ad platforms, tracking software), and training.
  • Suggest technology stack and partnerships for programmatic buying, analytics, and campaign management.


6. Scalability & Growth Plan:


  • Outline a roadmap for scaling the team as the agency takes on more clients.
  • Provide strategies for onboarding new talent and expanding capabilities to address emerging trends.


General Consulting


7. Stakeholder Collaboration:


  • Work closely with agency leadership and pitch teams to align media strategies with overall objectives.
  • Provide insights on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices.



Qualifications:


  • Experience: 10+ years in paid media planning, buying, and strategy development, with agency experience preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build and manage high-performing media teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of major ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360) and analytics tools.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to create effective media plans and operational frameworks.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
