Description

  • Responsibilities and Duties: Assist in procurement processes, maintain vendor relationships, monitor inventory levels, and support budgeting efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and inventory levels.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support the purchasing team in administrative tasks and reporting.

Requirements

  • Job Title: Purchasing Assistant
  • Educational Qualifications: Degree not required; relevant experience preferable.
  • Experience Level: Less than 1 year.
  • Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication, time management, problem-solving, negotiating, and canvassing/purchasing skills.
  • Working Conditions: Office environment, potential for remote work; typical business hours.
