Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Collections Manager to lead our collections team with a strategic, risk-based approach. This role focuses on optimizing collection efforts, improving recovery rates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, leadership experience, and expertise in leveraging data-driven insights for real-time decision-making.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Collections & Risk-Based Approach:

• Classify and prioritize accounts based on risk levels to enhance efficiency.
• Implement collection strategies tailored to delinquency risks rather than fixed schedules.

Process Optimization & Operational Efficiency:

• Refine workflows to improve the speed and effectiveness of collection efforts.
• Continuously evaluate processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Use data-driven insights to dynamically adjust collection strategies in response to delinquency trends.

Performance Tracking & Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Monitor key performance metrics (PTP rates, Kept rates, and risk-adjusted recovery rates) using real-time dashboards.
• Generate detailed reports with actionable insights to support informed decision-making.

Leadership & Team Development:

• Supervise, train, and mentor the collections team to enhance performance and execution.
• Establish clear, risk-adjusted targets to maintain accountability and efficiency.
• Promote a proactive, adaptable team culture that responds effectively to evolving risk factors.

Regulatory Compliance & Ethical Collections:

• Ensure all collection activities align with legal regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Balance recovery efforts with maintaining a positive and professional customer experience.

What our Client is Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience in collections management, with a focus on risk-based strategies.
• Strong expertise in collections management systems, data analytics tools, and CRM software.
• Proven ability to analyze real-time data and make immediate tactical decisions.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of loan collections, delinquency management, and legal recovery processes.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
