Description

Business Development Associate is responsible for driving growth within a company by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and contributing to the company's revenue. This role is crucial for laying the foundation for long-term success by creating and nurturing connections with potential clients, partners, and markets


  • Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research to gather and analyze data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. This helps in identifying potential business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Identifying and Qualifying Leads: Finding potential clients or partners who could benefit from the company's products or services. Assessing their potential value and determining whether they are worth pursuing.
  • Building and Maintaining Client Relationships: Regular communication with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions. Nurturing these relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with various departments to implement growth strategies and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Inquiry Management: Handle client inquiries efficiently, directing complaints or complex queries to the relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide clients with technical support on products and services, ensuring a clear understanding of functionalities and benefits.
  • Issue Resolution: Expedite serious issues to management for prompt resolution, following up to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive client records and document all processes to ensure clarity and continuity.
  • Proactive Intervention: Identify potential client service concerns and facilitate proactive intervention steps to mitigate issues.
  • Market Awareness: Keep abreast of new products, emerging trends in client services, and recommend product improvements based on client feedback
  • Outbound Outreach: Make outgoing calls to develop new business opportunities and qualify leads.
  • Email Marketing: Execute directed email marketing campaigns to key clients and prospects.
  • Database Management: Research and maintain a lead generation database to enhance sales efforts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in client services, customer support, or a related role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and lead generation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Interpersonal Skills: A professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
