Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Australian Payroll Officer to join our Clients’ payroll team. The successful candidate will be responsible to handle end-to-end payroll, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, reporting, and month-end reconciliation.
Work Set Up:
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, [6:00 am to 3:00 pm]
Work Setup: Onsite
Location: Makati

Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage timely and compliant fortnightly pay runs, including calculations for salaries, bonuses, deductions, and leave.
Onboarding and Offboarding Support: Handle employee setup and exit processes in HRIS, including final pay, separation certificates, and documentation.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure accurate payroll processing aligned with Australian tax laws, awards, and employment contracts; submit PAYG, Super, FBT, IAS, and Payroll Tax on time.
Records and Superannuation Management: Maintain employee records and ensure quarterly superannuation payments are accurately processed and reconciled.
Month-End Responsibilities: Perform payroll reconciliations, provision and accrual journal entries, and variance reporting to the CFO.
System and Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance payroll systems, automation, and compliance procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any field.
2 years of experience in a related role.
Qualifications in, or demonstrated experience with Australian payroll and/or accounting functions.
Proficiency in financial software systems.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience meeting regular payroll and reporting deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
Understanding and application of confidentiality and privacy principles in all work.
