Department: Supply Chain 

Reports To: Inventory and Logistics Manager 

The Logistics Associate is responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes of the company, including inventory control, warehousing, and distribution. This role ensures timely delivery of materials, optimizes cost efficiency, and maintains high standards in supply and logistics performance. 

1. Inventory Management 

• Track and manage stock levels at warehouses and branches to avoid overstocking or stockouts. 

• Coordinate with inventory staff to conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations. 

• Forecast demand based on historical consumption and upcoming needs. 

2. Logistics & Distribution 

• Plan and coordinate delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery to branches and customers. 

• Monitor transport logistics to reduce delays, damages, and costs. 

• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and timelines. 

• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials. 

• Ensure documentation and records for all logistics activities are accurate and up to date. 

3. Supplier and Vendor Coordination 

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. 

• Address delivery issues, shortages, or quality concerns promptly. 

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Work closely with purchasing, commissary, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow. 

• Support new product rollouts by coordinating the timely delivery of materials and equipment. 

5. Compliance & Reporting 

• Ensure compliance with food safety and logistics regulations. 

• Maintain reports related to supply chain KPIs, cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance.
