Role: Solar Electrical Engineer - Technical Support & Design

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Location: Philippines - Angeles (Pampanga)

Schedule: Morning Shift


We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our growing renewable energy support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring solar system performance, providing Tier 1–2 technical troubleshooting, and ensuring excellent customer and installer support. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

System Monitoring & Performance Alerts

  • Monitor solar systems in real time using dashboards and software tools.
  • Detect and analyze performance issues, faults, or connectivity problems.
  • Escalate critical alerts promptly to ensure system uptime.

Technical Troubleshooting

  • Provide Tier 1–2 remote support for inverter resets, communication issues, and configuration errors.
  • Guide customers and field teams through problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering and field service teams to resolve escalated cases.

Helpdesk & Customer Support

  • Handle inbound calls, chats, and ticket requests from customers and partners.
  • Deliver timely and professional responses to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot software and connectivity-related issues remotely.

CRM & Ticket Management

  • Record all support interactions accurately within the CRM/ticketing system.
  • Schedule service visits, track open cases, and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Keep data updated and ensure traceability for audits and reports.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate daily/weekly system performance reports and warranty claim logs.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for all technical processes and client interactions.

Installer & Partner Support

  • Assist installers with platform access, firmware updates, and setup troubleshooting.
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical queries from partners and contractors.

Qualification and requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical supporthelpdesk, or solar system monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systemsinverters, and monitoring platforms.
  • Experience using CRM/ticketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zendesk, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard software tools.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and accuracy.
