PILMICO ANIMAL NUTRITION CORPORATION, is a subsidiary of Pilmico Foods Corporation wholly owned by Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. We provide customers with high quality feeds for aqua, hogs, poultry as well as customized solutions for large farm accounts.
Since we started in 1998, we have grown and diversified to include swine and layer operations in Tarlac.
Our swine and layer farms employ advanced production systems, with automated feeding and drinking systems. Climate control is achieved in the barns through tunnel ventilation and evaporative cooling system. Our swine genetic program and pullet source selection on the other hand, ensures that we only produce quality market hogs and layers. Strict biosecurity measures are also in place to protect the animals from bacterial and viral disease exposure.

Job Description
The Slaughter Production staff is responsible for assisting or supporting the team during slaughter operations. He/ she is required to comply with all personnel safety, food safety, quality and sanitation standards set by the company. The position is responsible for ensuring that all white and red offals and blood from the clean kill area of the slaughter are complete and with a proper label . He/she is also responsible for contributing to the food safety, quality and productivity objectives of the plant.
Key Performance Indicators
- Order Fulfillment Rate ( for warm and chilled carcasses with target - 3: 99.71 % - 99.80%)
- Slaughter line productivity ( with the target- 3 : 121 - 130 heads per hour).
- Internal carcass rejection (Target: 3 - 3 % - 3.99%).
- Accuracy of report / Inventory of PPE's (2 complaints from Data management)
- GMP and 5's Compliance (Target : 2 violation (based on QA and TL checking).
- Living Quality ( Target : 100% Attendance , with 2 days Late , No Unplanned Leave).
- Reduction of LTISR vs 2023 (29.73%) by 50 % / half (14.5%)
- Amber Response.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Production Operation
- Coordinates with Lead Butchers in the number of entrails, head and blood
- Ensures that all entrails and blood order are complete
- Ensure that all residue in the Clean kill and white & red offals area is properly disposed of.
- Ensure that gmp and food safety protocols are followed
- Perform standard operating procedures in the process.
- Monitoring and recording of pork head wt
- Ensuring that all white & red offals and blood orders are complete
- Ensuring that all carcasses are with NMIS stamp
- Follow the task given by immediate supervisor
- Provide assistance to the team in disposing residue ( Blood, hair and hooves. etc.)
Quality Standards and Safety Management
- Comply with all food safety, quality and sanitation standards.
- Make sure work stations are always clean and organized.
Other Duties
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- Graduate of Animal Science or any related course
Experience
- with or without related experience.
License/s
Other Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in Piggery farm/ Meats operations
- Detail-oriented with good organizing and coordination skills
- Can prepare reports on time
