ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is seeking an L2 Systems Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of desktop operating systems, a solid understanding of server operating systems and networking, and a passion for delivering the best possible experience to clients. Their responsibilities will include troubleshooting Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, Windows Server 2019, and 2022, as well as addressing networking issues regularly. They will also work with Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD as part of their daily routine. Effective communication skills are crucial, as they will often need to explain technical concepts to non-technical end users.

WORK SCHEDULES:


Tuesday to Saturday

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time)

3:00 PM – 12:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Philippine Standard Time)

Follows Philippine Holiday


POSITION TYPE: Full Time


WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Handle escalated tickets from the level 1 team, which include break/fix issues, application installation and configuration, and user-level settings
  • Handle server administration, networking, and security tasks, including building new Hyper-V hosts, troubleshooting and deploying SonicWall firewalls, managing Datto network switches and access points, among many other new technologies that are regularly implemented
  • Utilize ticketing systems to document, track, and escalate tickets, ensuring efficient resolution
  • Maintain and update the documentation platform to keep all information current
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to provide exceptional service to clients remotely
  • Perform other required duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred
  • Superb knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Office 365 cloud services is a plus
  • Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is a plus
  • Knowledge of Datto BCDR and/or SaaS Backup is a plus
  • Knowledge of SonicWall firewalls is a plus
  • Knowledge of Datto networking, or networking in general, is a plus
  • Experience working in a ticketing system is preferred, with Autotask experience a huge plus
  • Time management skills are crucial to your success in this role
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills are a must
