Job Description:

We are looking to hire a qualified member to support our bookkeeping clients and internal operations. To be successful in this position, you must be detailed oriented, highly accurate and organized. As part of the Bookkeeping team, you will handle the different aspects of client books from set-up, data entry, review, clean-up, reconciliation, and preparation of periodic financial reports. You will communicate with clients through email or call, as needed. You will work closely with senior members of the team and other internal departments to ensure communication of accurate information.

This is a mostly remote position where you can work most days from home, with a minimum of 1-2 days in the office per month for meetings. As such, candidate should have own PC/laptop (Windows OS) and good internet speed.


Job Responsibilities:

- Provide bookkeeping and accounting support using QuickBooks Desktop and QB Online.

- Client servicing of US based clientele.

- Perform bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.

- Analyze data; review forms for completeness and detailed accuracy.

- Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.

- Perform a wide variety of ad hoc projects, administrative and reporting duties.

- Prepare daily reports and metrics to managers.

- Assist with various assigned projects.

- Communicate with internal team members and clients via email, some phone.


Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

- Minimum 3 years accounting and bookkeeping experience.

- QuickBooks Desktop and Online experience highly desirable.

- US payroll experience is a plus.

- High proficiency in spoken and written English.

- Software skills should include the use of MS Office.

- Good working knowledge of Excel preferred.

- Experience working with US team desirable.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions.

- Must be detailed oriented, highly accurate and organized. These are required attributes to be successful in this position.

- Self-motivated with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

- Excellent work habits and a strong commitment to get the job done.

- Some work hours should overlap with the US and Manila teams.

- Must pass background check for employment.

Expected Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly Pay: 270-330 PHP per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, plus 13th month

Schedule: 8 hour shift

Education: Bachelor's (Required)

Experience: Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)

Language: English (Required)
