Description
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into technical specifications and application features.
- Design scalable, robust, and secure application components using Java and related technologies.
- Develop and implement clean, efficient, and maintainable code across the application stack (front-end, back-end, and integration layers).
- Test software components using unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing practices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of application issues and defects.
- Perform enhancements, maintenance, and optimization of existing application modules to improve performance and user experience.
- Work closely with clients, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements, present solutions, and provide regular status updates.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with Japanese-speaking stakeholders; participate in meetings, documentation, and discussions in Japanese as needed.
- Ensure adherence to agile methodologies, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user guides.
- Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Japanese (N5 level or higher)
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions
- Knowledge of database management systems and SQL
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with Java Enterprise Edition
