• Translate Japanese to English
• Communicate to client and directors
• Ensure quality translation

• Cultural understanding of Japan, helpful for contextual translation.
• Clean and polished writing in English, ensuring translations that read naturally.
• 1–2 years of translation experience or equivalent.
• Clear communication and responsiveness when collaborating remotely.
• Computer literacy, including Google Docs and Spreadsheets.
• Equipment & Connectivity: Access to a reliable PC capable of handling large media files, coupled with a stable internet connection.
• JLPT N2 or higher in Japanese.
• Native or Near-Native Speaker of the English Language (American English)
• Must pass the manga translation test
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, especially in fields like Translation, Japanese Studies, Linguistics—but not mandatory if you can demonstrate strong skills.
