- Patient Assessment and Monitoring:
- Staff nurses assess patients' conditions, monitor vital signs, and observe for any changes in their health status.
- Medication Administration:
- They administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Patient Care:
- This includes providing direct patient care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with mobility.
- Documentation:
- Staff nurses maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including vital signs, medications administered, and any changes in the patient's condition.
- Collaboration:
- They work closely with physicians, other nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Patient and Family Education:
- Staff nurses educate patients and their families about illnesses, treatments, medications, and self-care practices.
- Maintaining a Safe Environment:
- They ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, including infection control and proper use of medical equipment.
- Emergency Response:
- Staff nurses are often involved in emergency situations, providing immediate care and support.
- Supervision and Mentorship:

Requirements
