Description
- Assist in maintenance and operation of engine room machinery.
- Perform cleaning and preservation of equipment.
- Monitor machinery performance and report issues.
- Support engineers in routine checks and repairs.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant experience in marine operations.
- Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Working Conditions: Maritime environment, often onboard vessels, with possible exposure to elements.
- Qualities and Traits: Reliable, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
