Ensure that Equipment Reliability is maintained at its highest level to support continuous and efficient terminal operations and ensures that all Mobile Equipment are properly repaired based on the daily tasks and duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Shall be primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all Mobile Equipment. 
• Shall help ensure that equipment’s daily availability is at its highest possible quantity by timely completion of welding repairs as per tasks assigned.
• Utilize electric arc welding for fusing metals together or an oxygen/acetylene gas set for cutting/welding.
• Work with a range of materials and equipment in fitting and assembling metal components to form structure.
• Able to follow welding instructions as recommended by the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
• Able to conduct assessment to determine appropriate welding methods and equipment.
• Tests and inspects welded surface to identify and fix possible flaws.
• Utilize braces and clamps in aligning metal components for welding
• Operate grinders and scrapers to prepare welding surfaces for welding operation.
• Clean metal materials prior to welding to remove rust, grease, scale or other contaminants.
• Pre-heating of workpieces using torches to prepare them for bending or welding.
• He shall have the skills in the use of welding equipment such as:
• Hand and Power Tools employed in all phases of maintenance and repair
• Electric Arc Welding Machine
• Oxygen-Acetylene Gas Torch/Cutting tool
• Grinding Machine
• Specialized Tools as required by the original Equipment manufacturer. 
• Shall attend the Daily Toolbox talk on his assigned Shift and follow all safety instructions on a regular basis. 
• Participate in emergency drills, general assemblies and other activities required by the company.
• Other jobs that may be assigned from time to time.

1. Educational Attainment: Preferably a Trade School Graduate of Heavy Equipment Repair and Maintenance or Automotive Repair and Maintenance. 
2. Eligibility: Having a National Certification I/II/III and 5G welding certification is an advantage. 
3. Work Experience: Must have at least 4 years of related experience under the same capacity.
4. Training/Certification: none required.
5. Skills: Must have people skills, and can understand basic command in English and Filipino, computer literacy is a plus.
