- Develop innovative and functional furniture designs.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure feasibility.
- Create detailed sketches and 3D models.
- Research market trends and materials.
- Present designs to clients and stakeholders.
- Revise designs based on feedback and budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Furniture Design or related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant experience in a furniture factory or woodworks industry.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, quantity surveying, and cut list generation. Strong visual design and furniture design abilities.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Design and create furniture, develop technical drawings, and collaborate with production teams.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with potential exposure to manufacturing settings.
- Qualities and Traits: Creative, detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
