Summary

As Strategist at Karou, you’ll be the driving force behind brand growth, translating big ideas into strategic action. You’ll lead client communication, shape social media strategies, and manage cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful content. Success in this role means consistently delivering results-driven campaigns, building trust with clients, and inspiring creative teams to execute work that feels more like culture than ads. This role is central to how we deliver value, you'll act as the bridge between client vision and creative output.

Responsibilities

Client Coordination

  • Serve as the lead contact for client communications, keeping partnerships energized and aligned.
  • Translate complex marketing terms and data into digestible insights for clients.
  • Confidently present proposals, plans, and performance updates.


Strategy Development

  • Lead strategy for every assigned project, ensuring all creative decisions tie back to business goals.
  • Stay updated with trends, tools, and digital behavior to drive relevant, high-performing campaigns.
  • Ideate, plan, and execute platform-specific strategies that build brand presence and engagement.


Project Management

  • Co-lead a creative team (with a Designer) to develop standout branded content.
  • Manage timelines, production calendars, and internal workflows to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure both client and internal expectations are met with clarity, precision, and excellence.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, or digital content with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A deep understanding of social platforms, content trends, and performance metrics is important.
  • Emotionally intelligent and attuned—you instinctively know how to read the room, build trust, and navigate team dynamics.
  • Leadership and people management skills; you're someone who others trust and rally behind.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to balance creative thinking with sharp execution.
  • A genuine willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in an intentional, idea-driven environment.
