Under the supervision of the School Director and School Principal, the School Nurse provides assistance in the health screening and care for students. Assists to promote and advocate for the health and safety of the school community through programs and activities as well as a conducive and healthy environment. Assures that the school is updated on health and safety regulations as well as LGU and DepEd compliances.

• Provide basic medical care & first aid
• Maintain student health records & immunizations
• Manage chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, allergies)
• Educate students & staff on health & safety
• Collaborate with teachers & counselors on student well-being
• Ensure compliance with school & LGU/WHO health policies

• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• 1-2 years experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• Works well with children
• Familiar with MS Office, Thunderbird, and other similar software
• Good communication skills in English - both writing and speaking
• Licensed or equivalent
• Maintains medical records and health history of students and employees
• Initiates referral to parents, school personnel or community health resources for intervention, remediation and follow through
• Educate students and staff on health procedures
• Monitor student immunization records
• Administer medication as needed
• Consult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student care
• Treat students and staff health concerns as needed
• Perform hearing, vision and other health screenings
• Assist with DepEd and LGU health and safety compliances
