Job Description

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building a strong online presence. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement, and digital marketing trends. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals. 
  • Identify target audiences and create content that resonates with them across various social media platforms. 
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI, adjusting strategies based on data and performance metrics. 
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content (text, images, video) that drives engagement and supports brand objectives. 
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all social media platforms. 
  • Plan and execute a content calendar that includes regular posts, stories, and campaigns. 
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive community around the brand. 
  • Monitor online conversations and brand mentions and address any issues or opportunities that arise. 
  • Build relationships with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and impact. 
  •  Monitor, track, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools like 
  • Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other analytics platforms. 
  • Use insights to optimize content and improve engagement rates, follower growth, and other key metrics. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies. 
  • Develop and manage paid social media campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance tracking. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and goals. 
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Content, PR, and Customer 
  • Service, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. 
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce engaging content. 

 

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,  LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences. 
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate original ideas. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
  • Familiarity with SEO, web traffic metrics, and online marketing concepts. 
  • Experience with graphic design or video editing software is a plus.
