About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the company’s revenue accounting functions, which include reconciling and validating revenue data across third party payment platforms, accurately applying cash collections to the customer’s account using appropriate accounting and business management software, and performing month-end close activities. We are looking for a problem solver with strong attention to detail and experience dealing with a large volume of sales data, who can bring their experience to help build the foundation of the client’s industry-defining accounting department.

Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM US Pacific Time (12:00 AM to 6:00 AM PHT), Monday to Friday

Work Set-up: Remote

What you’ll do

• On an ongoing basis and in a timely manner, accurately apply cash collections to the customer’s account using appropriate accounting and business management software (Zuora and NetSuite)
• Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and journal entries for month end close
• Work closely with sales and other departments to provide support, resolve problems, and reconcile accounts
• Validate data across 3rd party payment platforms, internal data warehouses, Salesforce, and Zuora (revenue engine)
• Create metrics, generating reports and statements for internal use
• Assist with revenue team projects and process improvements

Job requirements

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong math, typing, and computer skills, Salesforce & Zuora Billing Software preferred.
• Experience dealing with a large volume of sales data
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
• Willing to work on US Pacific Time (graveyard)
