About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Odoo Developer who can take ownership of development while preparing to step into a technical leadership role. This role is ideal for someone who’s not only strong in coding and customization but also deeply understands business operations, especially in digital commerce, marketing automation, and warehouse management.

You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, build, and implement Odoo modules that directly improve operational performance — from inventory and fulfillment to digital workflows and integrations with external systems.

Key Responsibilities

Odoo Development & Customization

• Develop, customize, and optimize Odoo modules using Python, XML, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems (eCommerce, WMS, marketing platforms, logistics, etc.).
• Create and maintain scalable, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational bottlenecks within Odoo (e.g., pick-pack-ship processes, automation errors, data syncing).

Operational Process & Problem Solving

• Understand and map business workflows across warehouse management, marketing operations, and digital sales.
• Translate operational challenges into Odoo-driven solutions.
• Implement best practices for data flow, automation, and system accuracy.
• Provide clear documentation of problems solved and results achieved.

Leadership & Growth Path

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide junior developers (India-based) as the team expands.
• Contribute to defining development standards, version control, and CI/CD setup.
• Prepare to step into a Technical Lead role as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Odoo development experience (v13–v17 preferred).
• Proven experience building custom Odoo modules from scratch.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) — including pick, pack, ship, inventory control, and stock movement.
• Experience integrating Odoo with digital tools (marketing, CRM, eCommerce, or machine systems).
• Solid knowledge of Python, XML, JavaScript, and Odoo APIs.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Experience working directly with end-users or clients to identify pain points and deliver practical solutions.
• (Preferred) Exposure to automation or AI-driven processes within Odoo.
