PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Fixed Assets Accountant, you will support in Fixed Asset transactions like capital project reference creation, fixed asset acquisitions, and dispositions in the accounting system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.  

  • Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.  

  • Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.  

  • Helps conduct analysis related to fixed assets as requested by Management.  

  • Support in timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.  

  • Contribute to activities related to ongoing fixed assets projects. 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance 

  • CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is a plus.

  • At least 4 years of professional experience is desirable, with relevant experience in Fixed Assets.

  • Strong experience in Excel Macro

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels 

  • Strong Analytical Skills 

  • Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies 

  • Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO 

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach 

  • Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines 

OTHERS:

  • Shift - Mid-shift (3PM-12MN)

  • Hybrid Work Setup - 2-3x a week onsite work

  • Employment Arrangement: Project Based
