To manage the sales cycle for complex products or solutions, leading the sales team, and acting as the bridge between customer needs and technical capabilities. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
• Technical Expertise: Understand and articulate the technical aspects of products and services to clients and internal teams.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of technical sales reps or engineers, setting goals and providing coaching.
• Proposal Development: Prepare and present customized proposals, RFP responses, and product demonstrations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and long-term client satisfaction.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
• Adherance to plan activities as well as government and other regulatory requirements
