Safety Officer III.

1. Develop, review, and implement Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies and procedures.
2. Conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
3. Lead accident and incident investigations; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
4. Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and emergency drills for employees and contractors.
5. Ensure compliance with DOLE OSH standards and act as the company liaison during inspections and audits.
6. Maintain updated records of safety permits, incident reports, and OSH compliance documents.
7. Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety compliance at project or site level.
8. Recommend procurement of necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety-related tools.
9. Submit periodic reports to management and government agencies (DOLE, BWC, LGU, etc.).
10. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the HSE Manager.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• Open to other courses provided candidate has relevant certifications and experience.
• Diploma Vocational is accepted.
• Experience:
• At least 2 years relevant work experience in safety and health management.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial operations preferred.
• Certifications (Required):
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer III.
• Completed BOSH Training (40 hrs) plus advanced OSH training (e.g., COSH, LCM, HIRAC).
• Skills:
• Knowledgeable in OSH laws and regulations.
• Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Must be able to conduct trainings and orientations.
