Job Function

As our on-the-ground representative, you will be the face of the Mino Washi Pen brand in France or the UK. Your primary responsibility is to actively visit and build relationships with potential retailers and sales agents, gather market insights, and secure sample placements.

Qualifications / Years of Experience

• Must be a current resident of France or the UK.
• A strong passion for and in-depth knowledge of local stationery, design, or general goods retail trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in sales, retail, or merchandising is a significant plus.
• Basic proficiency in English is required. Business-level French is a major advantage for the French market.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.

Job Description

• This is not a typical desk job. We are looking for a highly proactive individual who is ready to immerse themselves in the local market.
• You will be responsible for a range of hands-on tasks, including:

• Visiting Boutiques: Proactively approaching and visiting stationery shops, museum stores, and high-end boutiques to introduce the Mino Washi Pen.
• Sample Placement: Presenting the product's unique story and craftsmanship to store managers and buyers, with the goal of getting samples placed for potential future orders.
• Relationship Building: Nurturing relationships with key contacts and acting as our main point of communication.
• Market Feedback: Gathering valuable feedback on product appeal, pricing, and competitor activity.
