Description
- Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Stock and organize pantry items and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Help with inventory management and restocking as needed.
Requirements
- Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in kitchen hygiene, mise-en-place, cooking skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Assist chefs in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure efficient workflow.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and handling various kitchen equipment.
- Qualities and Traits: Team player, adaptability, strong work ethic, and ability to work under pressure.
