What You Will Do
People and Team Management
- Build and foster healthy and positive team culture
- Hire, train and develop good quality people
- Pro-actively source potential recruitment consultants for the business
- Develop team, including attending meetings with clients and candidates, conducting regular reviews; carry out appraisals including discussing career progression
- Conduct salary reviews for consultants including bonus allocations with the Associate Director / Director, by considering the financial and non-financial targets
- Retain high performers/ talents by having regular check-ins and stay conversations
- Engage your Director and HR on talent retention initiatives for high performers
- Identify underperformers and competently manage Company performance management procedures where necessary alongside HR
- Ensure your business is profitable - consistent team and personal billing, with the aim of hitting and exceeding your budget
- Setting realistic and promising forecast
- Set revenue targets for your team that grow the business and challenge individuals with regular reviews
- Ensure relationships with Business Partners and other stakeholders is managed professionally and constructively
Candidate Management
- Lead candidate review and ensuring a good number of quality candidates are presented, marketed, actioned upon and correctly recorded
- Champion and lead a great candidate experience
- Manage the recruitment process from beginning to end, including the development and delivery of short and long-term recruitment campaigns
- Source, select and match high quality candidates, ensuring only the best are put forward to our clients for interview
- Organise and coordinate interviews with candidates and fully briefing candidates regarding roles
- Participate in head hunting of candidates and following up on referrals
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of candidate information within the database
Client Engagement
- Work closely with your Senior Manager/Associate Director/Director to continuously develop your business by optimizing growth opportunities
- Generate new business by networking, promoting the brand, gathering market information and making business development calls
- Review and drive negotiation of commercial terms to secure exclusive relationships and retain existing business
- Handle a range of accounts and take responsibility for key relationships, ensuring we deliver on all client expectation and our SLAs
- Strategic account management execution where applicable
Seek Opportunities & Thought Leadership that foster business growth
- Optimise growth opportunities to expand the business and gain market share by networking, promoting the brand, gathering market information and making business development calls
- Upskill the team on industry/business knowledge/recruitment best practices to ensure you can provide and demonstrate market knowledge to both candidates and clients
- Demonstrate thought leadership by contributing white papers or organising industry specific events round tables / webinars
What You Will Bring
- Prior recruitment experience is a must, with a successful track record in recruiting within your industry vertical specialisation (HR & Industrial is desirable but not essential)
- Experience managing high performance teams in a sales environment
