Monitor Department of Transportation infrastructure plans (road expansions, new interchanges, highway upgrades)
Monitor Department of Economic Development budgeting plans and targeting
industry growth sectors & expansions efforts
Track population migration trends, demographic shifts, and employment growth patterns
Identify new commercial developments, major retailer expansions, and industrial projects
Create and maintain centralized market intelligence database with automated tracking systems
Develop systematic processes for consistent market monitoring across multiple Florida markets
Build relationships with targeted brokers to identify land opportunities – finding and keeping track of upcoming events for land acquisition team to attend (i.e builder events, broker events)
Support creation of compelling market presentations for builder pitches and investor meetings
Develop an on-going Google notification system to keep tabs of development, infrastructure, and employment hubs article coverage.
Generate bi-weekly snapshots of findings, highlighting the analytics or development pipeline which makes the market a target.

Conduct a search on national home builder & broker meet-ups.
Large conferences to small gatherings

Proven background in market research, data analysis, or real estate industry experience
Advanced Excel skills with ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends
Experience gathering information from government databases, public records, and industry sources
Preferred: Background in real estate, urban planning, economic development, or related fields
Bonus: Familiarity with Florida markets, municipal planning processes, or GIS/mapping software
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex research into clear, actionable insights
Experience creating presentations and reports for executive decision-making
Comfort with learning new software platforms and database management systems
