Description
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams.
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and managing patient care.
- Keep accurate records and maintain a clean workspace.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong medical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities are essential.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure patient safety.
- Working Conditions: Work in hospitals or clinics with exposure to radiation; may involve standing for long periods.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, compassionate, and capable of working under pressure.
