Product Sourcing and Selection:

• Identify and source products, materials, and promotional items that align with the company's strategic goals.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to negotiate terms and secure the best products at competitive prices.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and consumer preferences.

Merchandise Planning:

• Develop and execute a merchandise plan that aligns with sales and profit targets.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock or stockouts.

Purchasing and Ordering

• Prepare purchase orders to suppliers and coordinate order confirmation and delivery schedule.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.

Profitability Analysis:

• Analyze the financial impact of merchandise decisions.
• Track and report on sales, margins, and profitability of various product lines.

Systematic Improvements: 

• Tracking inventory movement and systematically introducing promotions, sales, price changes, etc

• With at least three (3) years of experience in Merchandising, preferably in the Retail industry or Pharma and med supply
• Has strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
