- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong skills in project coordination, purchasing, marketing research, and inventory management.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Managing vendor relationships, optimizing purchasing processes, and conducting market analysis.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional travel to meet suppliers.
- Qualities and Traits: Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
