Purchasing Assistant

Job Description
- Assist in procurement processes, ensuring timely and accurate orders.
- Maintain records of inventory and supplier information.
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate prices and delivery schedules.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels.
- Prepare purchase orders and assist in contract management.
- Collaborate with team members to forecast purchasing needs.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in procurement software, and excellent analytical abilities.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Assist in vendor management, prepare purchase orders, and maintain inventory levels.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional site visits to suppliers.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, proactive, and excellent communication skills.
