The IT Project Manager acts as the primary liaison between the assigned business unit and the Central IT team. The role is responsible for leading projects through all project management lifecycle phases— while ensuring transparency, risk mitigation, and quality delivery. This position also involves oversight of designated IT solution sets and close collaboration with the IT Solution Delivery and the IT Steering Committee to secure necessary approvals and support. It is important that the candidate has vast experience in Project Management. Familiarity with Project-Related Risk and Issue Management, Change Management, Requirement Analysis. To be successful in this role, one must possess effective communication skills, negotiation skills, problem-solving, analytical thinking, customer focus mindset, and great presentation skills. Must have domain expertise on one or more of B2B / B2C Systems & Solutions, E-commerce Solutions, Human Capital Management, ERP and Digital Marketing.
• Project Leadership & Governance:
o Lead projects by following the Project Management Lifecycle phases
o Adhere to standard templates, guidelines, and documentation (e.g., Project Request Form, Project Charter, Business Requirements Document, Statement of Work, and Project Closure Documents).
o Secure project approvals and participate in gate reviews for major or high-value initiatives.
• Planning & Execution:
o Define project objectives, scope, milestones, deliverables, risks, and resource requirements in alignment with business needs and strategic goals.
o Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring compliance with established risk, issue, and change management processes.
o Coordinate with internal teams and third-party service providers, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management:
o Ensure regular and transparent communication through status reports, dashboard updates, and scheduled stakeholder meetings.
o Facilitate post-mortem reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous process improvements.
• Documentation & Compliance:
o Oversee the proper archival, security, and maintenance of all project documents.
o Ensure that all project documentation complies with internal policies and legal requirements.
• Vendor & Risk Management:
o Monitor vendor performance and coordinate with third-party service providers to implement corrective action plans when necessary.
o Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle, using a formalized risk matrix approach.
• Educational Background:
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience & Certifications:
o A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in IT Project Management, with hands-on exposure to managing end-to-end IT projects.
o Working knowledge of established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
o Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Asana, or Trello.
o PMP and/or Agile Certification is highly desired.
• Technical & Domain Expertise:
o Familiarity with relational database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc.) and application security best practices.
o Experience in transforming user requirements into system designs and identifying potential enhancements for existing applications.
o Preferably someone with experience in Human Capital Management System, Warehouse Management System, Transport Management System or Travel Ticketing System.
o Domain expertise in one or more of B2B/B2C Systems & Solutions, E-commerce Solutions, ERP or Digital Marketing is a plus.

Scope of Work
1. Project Overview and Objectives
• Project Purpose: Implement an enterprise-wide system that supports core business functions and integrates with existing applications.
• Objectives:
o Configure and deploy the enterprise system according to organizational requirements.
o Integrate the system with existing ERP and other critical applications to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
o Map, analyze, and optimize current business processes to align with the new system’s capabilities.
o Manage and coordinate third-party vendors to support various components of the implementation. 2. Responsibilities and Deliverables
A. Project Planning & Governance
• Define Project Plan: Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining milestones, timelines, resource allocations, and deliverables.
• Documentation: Create and maintain essential project documents such as the Project Charter, Business Requirements Document (BRD), and Status Reports.
• Approval Management: Secure necessary approvals from internal stakeholders and participate in gate reviews to ensure compliance with project standards.
B. System Configuration & Integration
• System Configuration: Oversee the configuration of the enterprise system to meet business requirements.
• Application Integration: Direct and manage the technical integration between the new system and existing applications (e.g., ERP, CRM), ensuring data integrity and system interoperability.
• Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and user acceptance tests to validate functionality and performance.
C. Vendor Management
• Third-Party Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers involved in system configuration, integration, or support services.
• Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs, ensuring adherence to quality and timeline standards.
• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to vendor performance and technical integration challenges, using a formal risk management approach.
D. Communication and Reporting
• Stakeholder Updates: Provide regular status reports, dashboards, and updates to key stakeholders.
• Meetings & Reviews: Organize and lead regular project review meetings, including progress assessments and lessons learned sessions.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for project issues, facilitating timely escalation and resolution.
