- Analyze project specifications and requirements.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing evaluation.
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as needed.
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in project estimation or a similar role in construction.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD, expertise in risk assessment, and preparation of bidding documents.
- Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with occasional site visits; may require extended hours during bids.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
