The Process Excellence Lead is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations by analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing best-practice solutions. The role focuses on process optimization, performance improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. The Process Excellence Lead partners with cross-functional teams to ensure process standardization, operational excellence, and alignment with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive end-to-end process excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across healthcare operations
  • Analyze current state processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to improve productivity, quality, cost, and customer outcomes
  • Define, standardize, and monitor process metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure operational performance
  • Support new transitions by establishing process frameworks, metric definitions, issue tracking, and reporting mechanisms
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions
  • Facilitate process reviews, Kaizen events, and improvement workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, assess feasibility, and support implementation and program management
  • Utilize data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, and analytics techniques) to drive fact-based decision making
  • Ensure process documentation, standard operating procedures, and controls are established and maintained
  • Partner with operations, quality, and leadership teams to drive adoption of best practices and change management
  • Provide coaching and guidance on Lean Six Sigma concepts to stakeholders and project teams
  • Support compliance, audit readiness, and quality standards within healthcare processes


Requirements

  • At least 2 years in College / Preferred College Graduate Degree
  • Selling point – The successful candidate will be trained for Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (company-paid)
  • Required at least Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
  • 5–7 years of related work experience in process excellence / improvement
  • Preferred healthcare industry experience but open to any industry exposure (manufacturing, engineering, etc.)


Key Skills Required

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified / MBB (from reputed certification bodies or companies)
  • Deep knowledge in Six Sigma methodology & process improvement (at least 5 years of experience)
  • New transition management (metric definition, SLA standardization, issue tracking, and reporting)
  • Well-versed in Excel and Minitab
  • Process automation knowledge in terms of identification and applicability, assessment, and program management
  • Exposure in data analytics will be an added advantage
  • Healthcare domain expertise (payer, provider, benefit configuration, etc.) is an advantage
