JOB SUMMARY:
- The Field Technician plays a crucial role in the efficient and effective fulfillment and management of clients’ service requests, specifically from asset receiving and safekeeping through preparation, testing, deployment, post-deployment, and reporting, including asset care and management.
- Service request fulfillment: Deploy new terminals and/or peripherals or replace previous installations, provide on-site checking, reprogramming or deprogramming and other services in accordance with customer’s specifications and requirements, including agreed service turnaround time or completion.
- Testing and Calibration: Test and calibrate installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Merchant Training: Provide training to merchants to ensure that all merchant’s cashiers understand the functionality, basic care and security of the deployed terminals.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues and malfunctions efficiently.
- On-Site Support: Provide on-site technical support and assistance to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, keeping them informed about the status of every deployment or post-deployment service done.
- Service Reports: Accomplish in full the required details in the field service and other related reports for every field service done
- Submission of Field Service Reports: Comply with the company’s policy and procedures on on-time submission of field service and related reports.
- Field Expense Liquidation: Comply with the company’s policy and procedures on on-time liquidation of field expenses.
- Inventory Management: Keep track and hold full responsibility and accountability over all entrusted company assets in view of the field service assignment.
- Others: Attend scheduled trainings and meetings from time to time.
