1. Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
2. Confident using all the necessary tools and materials required for this role.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
5. Flexible to work overtime during busy periods if required.

Responsibilities

1. Knowledge in the usage of sanding and buffing tools to remove imperfections from painted surfaces.
2. Inspect painted areas for quality and rework any areas as necessary to meet Toyota quality standards.
3. Maintain machines and equipment issued, use of correct PPE, and observe safety precautions at all times. 
4. Develop and practice a Kaizen/Constant Improvement attitude
5. Coordinate with paint technicians to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
6. Ensures compliance with the standard operating procedures and safety rules (5S) in the performance of assigned tasks.
7. Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
