- Operating equipment like picking carts, RF scanners and potentially forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Verifying the quantity and type of items picked match the order, checking for damage and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Stacking items, packing them and preparing them for outbound shipment.
- Completing general warehouse tasks as instructed such as stowing parts, creating labels and filling out production control sheets.
- Picking and pulling items from designated locations (shelves, bins) to assemble customer orders.
