To assist in the production and presentation of a wide variety of baked goods. You should have baking experience, a keen eye for detail and a good interpersonal skill in interacting positively and effectively with team members.

JOB SCOPES/DUTIES:

• Prepare and bake a diverse range of products, including breads, cakes, cookies, etc.
• Ensure that all baked goods meet high standards for taste and presentation.
• Monitor baking processes and techniques.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Track ingredient usage and control costs to stay within budget guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Clean and sanitize baking tools, equipment, and surfaces regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 1 year of experience as a pastry cook, baker, or similar.
• Good knowledge of baking techniques.
• Experience in chocolate making is an added advantage.
• Creative ability in designing, decorating, and filling confectionery.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills & collaboration team work.
