Tulay sa Pag-Unlad, Inc. (A Microfinance NGO) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal Officer to join our dynamic legal team in Makati City. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting our legal professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department.

• Conducts documentary research and legal writing.
• Prepares and assists in preparation of pleadings.
• Assists Supervising Attorney in case planning and ensures all relevant documents are ready during hearing.
• Organizing and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems for legal records and documents.
• Maintains relevant case notes and monitor case progress.
• Providing administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling inquiries.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or in any course related to Laws, Unit in Bachelor of Law is an advantage.
• 1 year of experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with legal professionals and clients.
• Proficient in legal research and the use of relevant software and databases.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.
