The Aluminum/UPVC Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end operations of aluminum and UPVC window and door projects—from design, fabrication, logistics, and installation to final project turnover. This includes ensuring operational efficiency, quality control, cost management, and timely delivery of all project components. The Operations Manager leads cross-functional teams and ensures that production, installation, and customer satisfaction standards are met.


SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the design, fabrication, and installation departments.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve workflow, productivity, and quality.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, design, engineering, procurement, logistics) to align project timelines and deliverables.
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking across multiple sites.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with project engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and optimize fabrication output, material usage, and equipment utilization.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures during fabrication and installation.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine construction codes and international standards for windows and doors.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory, reduce waste, and control material costs.
  • Review project costing and work closely with the estimation team to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate production, site, and operations staff.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.
  • Resolve operational and personnel issues as they arise.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding operations.
  • Support the sales and business development team in technical presentations and project feasibility discussions.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial), Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in aluminum/UPVC windows and doors operations, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, installation methods, hardware systems, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multi-project management skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Understanding of cost control, procurement, and logistics management.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Familiarity with local and imported aluminum/UPVC systems (e.g., Alutech, Conch, Wintech).
  • Experience in handling large-scale residential, commercial, or high-rise projects.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk management, and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Filipino; ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
